Pro Bono NGO invite people from Moldova to a unique experience in Turkey.
This is a youth exchange project, Dance is a Culture, going to be held in SİVAS, Turkey during 13-21 June,
2013. 38 participants will be participating from following countries; Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, Poland,
Republic of Moldova and Turkey.
In Europe and even in the world, countries have different music and
dance traditions. Depending on some factors, dance types, dance cultures and even dance figures are
different than others. Also in a country, region-to-region, music, dances and
figures are different. Furthermore, music are different linked by differences of cultures. Music, in hotter
and South and Mediterranean countries and cultures, are different than cold and North countries. These
differences are affected with some reasons such as geographic, cultural, and human’s life style etc.
Then, the aim of our project, with the participants from each points of Europe, to provide to reflect of their
traditional music, cultures and dances. And, how were born of these differences from their cultures, how
they were affected from their cultures, are the other goals of our project. In this manner, we will have a
chance both to recognition to other cultures (dance, music etc) and we will have a chance to see and to
learn different countries’ different music and dance cultures of Europe and neighboring countries.
Meals and accommodation is provided. We will reimburse 70% of the travel costs.
